When India was celebrating its 75th anniversary of independence, on the other hand, we would establish another milestone in space. In the year 2022, India has announced to send three astronauts through the Gaganaya. The entire project will cost up to ten thousand crore rupees. Mission Gaganayan was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 15 ,2018. Let me also tell you here that so far three Indians have gone in space. In 1984, Rakesh Sharma went to space with the help of Soviet Russia. Apart from this, India’s Kalpana Chawla and Sunita William have also illuminated the name of India in this area.
India will be the fourth country in the world to do so. So far, America, Russia and China have succeeded in sending their manned ships to space. According to ISRO’s plan, 7 tonnes of grains, 7 meters high and around 4-meter diameter manganese will be launched in space with GSLV (Mk3) rocket. It will reach orbit in 16 minutes of launch. It will be installed in the orbit of 300-400 kilometres from the surface of the earth. India will name its astronauts ‘Vyomnuts’ because in Sanskrit ‘Vyom’ means space.
3.7 tonnes of heavy gunner will be able to stay in space for about a week. This will be quite similar to the Russian SUYOS capsules. There will be two liquid propellant engines in it. For this, ISRO will use GSLV-3 There will also be many other control systems besides the life support system. Its biggest feature is that in view of the rescue of passengers in an emergency, it will also be possible to get out on the first and second stage after the launch of the rocket. About 16 minutes after the launch of the rocket, this capsule will be installed around 400 km above the Earth’s orbit.
In this space capsule prepared by the thermal shield, three astronauts can live in the distance of five to seven days in a distance of 400 km from Earth. There they will study on microbiology. This capsule will take one round of earth every 90 minutes. This will enable the astronauts to sunset and sunrise. All three astronauts will be able to see India twice from space every twenty-four hours. With this help, the astronauts will return to Earth. It is believed that this capsule will be lowered on the water. While returning, when this capsule enters the earth’s atmosphere, it will not allow the accumulated temperature to reach the passengers sitting in the thermal shield attached to it.
This shield will ensure that the temperature inside the capsule remains the same as 25 degrees. The prototype of the special space suit, which was sent to the Gaganaya campaign, has also been revealed. This space suit will fit an oxygen cylinder which will provide oxygen for up to 1 hour to the passengers in space. This space-boat will also save them from radiation. Other things to save the life of the passenger during an emergency will also be available in this space. This spaceship will be of orange coloured under international standards.
Doctor VR Lalitambika has been given the responsibility of the space program Gaganaya. It is being said that the cost of Rs. 10,000 crores are being made in this campaign. Doctor LaLithambika is an experienced control system engineer. He has been associated with ISRO for almost three decades. The study of 56-year-old doctor Lalitambika has been written in Kerala. She is the mother of two children. Considering their passion and skill towards work, they have been selected for this work. They have worked on all Indian rockets Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) and Indigenous Space Shuttle. Laithambika has also worked as a Deputy Director in Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) at Thiruvananthapuram earlier.
